No

9. Why does pricing change / why are prices only good for 24 hours?

Shipping containers are like commodities oil, gold, grain, and so on on where prices change constantly for several reasons

10. Will BEC Storage buy my shipping container that I own.

Yes BEC Storage buys shipping containers from individuals that want to sell them, pricing varies on condition of unit

11. What is a USED AS IS container?

AS IS means the way it is, normally damaged: big dents, holes, doors do not close or something else or combination of these

12. What is a USED WATERTIGHT container?

WATERTIGHT means that the container has no leaks or holes, that is it. The container can have dents, rough floors, stains on the floor, the doors can be difficult to open and close but still work, the exterior door seals can be damaged but the interior door seals are still there to seal, there can be surface rust on or around the container, the container can be over 8 years old or older, there could be company logos or writing on the container, there is no lockbox that comes with the unit, there can be as little as 2 air vents. If the above is not to your liking or you do not want any of the above descriptions with your container, we strongly recommend customers purchase a new one-trip container, yes a new one-trip container costs more and that is why there is a price difference from a new one-trip to used containers.

13. What is a NEW ONE-TRIP container?

New ONE TRIP means the container has only one trip, that the new one trip container is as close to new as a customer can get. The term comes from the container being manufactured new, then ONE TRIP loaded with goods for import, then unloaded and sold after ONE TRIP. These units have very little to no scratches or dents, the paint is like new, the floors are solid, there are several over 2+ vents installed, the doors are easier to open and close, the unit is less than 5 years old, in some cases the unit comes with "easy open handle" which is large handle, there is a lockbox that comes with the unit. If customers want a nice looking, clean, easy to operate, shipping container that will last a long time as dry storage it is strongly recommended they purchase a new one-trip container.

14. How long do I have to return my container purchase?

All container sales are final sale, meaning BEC Storage will not return customers' money if a customer wants to return a container and get their purchase amount back. At the bottom of the invoice, it will say: All sales are final

15. What are the warrantees or guarantees on containers?

Do to the nature of the containers being used for cargo and items being moved in and out of them we can not make any warrantees or guarantees on any containers. We ask all customers to check their container and let us know of any problems within 24 hours of the container arriving.
